2023 has been another remarkable year for me.
- Got invited by Switzerland and Australian governments for Women Entrepreneurship Week; Innovation Ecosystem dialogs. Countless workshops and events that I was a speaker, a panelist, a judge, a mentor, and a friend of the community.
- Marked my 10th year with Google Developers Group Vietnam, the largest developer community in Vietnam.
- Co-found GfG Foundation – the initiative to empower the gaming ecosystem in Vietnam. We do believe the gaming industry has a significant impact on Vietnam’s digital economy. End of October 2023, the very first time Vietnam game maker Conference 2023 was co-hosted by both Ministry of Planning and Investment and Ministry of Information and Communications.
- Granted EB1A (Alien of Extraordinary Abilities) visa aka permanent resident in the US, I am recognized as a rare talent in technological entrepreneurship.
- Selected to the Antler US Residency program in Austin, Texas, together with other 70 great minds and they are the most amazing people I have known in my life. If you are founder wannabe, I strongly recommend Antler US Residency program and the application opens for next cohort now.
- Found Ventonos.com and keep pivoting until we fulfill the mission: providing emotional support for individual’s needs. More updates to come.
- Established a small Vietnamese Street food fusion at a restaurant quality with reasonable price in Quán Cuốn Nhà Tui – 15 Mai Thi Luu, Da Kao Ward, District 1, HCMC. My co-founder is family member of Thuận Phong Company – the top rice paper, coconut water, other Vietnamese noodles and ingredients export to global market for 20 years.
Looking forward to 2024, I recently made a few important decisions:
- AI in healthcare is my best bet for the next 10 years from now on.
- To pursue Ventonos’s mission and my teenage dream, I decided to go back to school for a Psychology major (ultimately I want to become a Psychiatrist but let’s see what I can do). I also reside in Houston TX, and split my time between Houston – Austin (Texas) and San Francisco Bay Area (California).
- Last but not least, while growing Ventonos slowly and steady, I give my hand to join Maika Buddy project – AI toy for edutainment for kids and young adults. This is an interactive AI-empowered technology that makes every stuffed animal become your emotional and educational friends.
Friends, I can’t express myself enough how grateful I am that I have been knowing, been working, and been spending time with you in the past few years from everywhere in the world.
